Imagine a low-key, high energy, kickback mini Magic Market, with Cafecitos + Brunch, all your favorite new brujita fam you met over the weekend + all day Wellness Workshops! Yoga! Dance! make-your-own-Pañuelo!

Co-located at 119 Knickerbocker Ave in Bushwick, Crossroads Cafe + Alchemia Studio will be our home for the day! Featuring a Mini Magic Market in the Cafe’s beautiful yard, DJS Dada Coz, RetroMelodies, Acrylica, DiscoCurandera + Chiqui B and Uptown Vinyl Supreme will keep us dancing all day! At 3pm we will also have a special live performance by La Manga - NYC”s all women Cumbia band!

In between shopping, eating, and dancing - take a workshop and decolonize your wellness!

Founded by in 2015, Brooklyn Brujeria is a Brooklyn-based creative house committed to using the power of art and joy as a form of culture bearing, consciousness raising and community building. Since 2018, the now annual Brooklyn Brujeria Festival brings together a diverse group of the city’s artists, makers, and healers to drum, dance, sing, and share in the name of our collective liberation. Featuring performances from the city’s top drummers, DJs, and artists from across the African Diaspora; Art + Altar installations, Tarot and Oracle Readings, Magic Maker Markets, and workshops, the Brooklyn Brujeria Festival is a testament to the power of the spirit to set us free. 

The 2025 Brooklyn Brujeria Festival will take place from October 3rd – 5th with signature events including Noche de Tambores @ The DUMBO Archway on Friday October 3rd from 5-10pm, the Magic Market + Fair (12-5pm) + Noche de Salsa (9pm-1am) @ BRIC House on Saturday October 4th, and Aché y Café: A Day of Decolonized Wellness @ X.Roads Cafe/Alchemia Studios(12-6pm) on Sunday October 5th.

On Saturday October 4, Brooklyn Brujeria is taking over BRIC House! 

The day begins with the Brooklyn Brujeria:Magic Market and Fair. Featuring 30+ local makers; Dominoes by Capicu; Altar installations by Soul Things BK + Read of Roses; Tarot + Oracle Readers; and performances by Orchestre Moto (Congolese Soukous), Bomberx NYC (Puerto Rican Bomba) and DJ sets from Madame Vacile, Delaceiba, and Moon Babe.

After a quick break to go home and put on your dancing shoes, join us for the first ever Brooklyn Brujeria House Party: Noche de Salsa! Featuring all vinyl DJ sets from Chiqui B and Brooklyn’s finest vinyl collectives including Disoclocas, La Clave, + Rincon Tropical and a special live performance from Las Mariquitas – Brooklyn’s Queer and Trans Salsa Orchestra.
